Dolores M. Rutkosky

Dolores M. Rutkosky, 99, of Reading, passed away June 22, 2024 in her home.

Born in Shamokin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Emily (Berent) Rutkosky.

Dolores was a 1943 graduate of Shamokin High School and a 1946 graduate of Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing. She also graduated from Lancaster General Hospital School of Anesthesia.

She was employed by Reading Hospital as a nurse anesthetist. 

Surviving are her two nieces: Sandy Flower of Linwood, NJ; Dolores Pinamonti of North Branch, Minnesota. One Nephew; Mike Rutkoskie of Danville, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on July 5th at 11am in the chapel of George, Gethsemane Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 at the Stitzel Funeral Home, Laureldale. Burial will follow in the Chapel of St. George. 

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made  to Holy Guardian Angels.
