Domenico Rozzi

It is with great sadness that the family of Domenico Rozzi, 87, of Laureldale, announces his passing on July 10, 2023.

He was the loving husband of Caridad L. (Pupo) Rozzi, with whom he shared almost 65 years of marriage.

Born October 3, 1935, in Ascoli Piceno, Italy, he was a son of the late Pasquale Rozzi and Maria (DeSantis) Rozzi.

Domenic was the owner and operator of Rozzi Window Manufacturing, Inc., Reading from 1982, until his retirement in 2008.

He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, Hyde Park.

Domenic served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 7 years.

He was a Knight of Columbus, enjoyed bowling and golfing, and he and his wife loved going to their condo in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his four children: Robert F. Rozzi, husband of Cathryn L. Clinton of Calabash, NC; Michael D. Rozzi, husband of Brenda L. (Klee) Rozzi of Muhlenberg Township; Susan R. (Rozzi) Murray, wife of Peter J. Murray of Devon, PA; and Laurie R. (Rozzi) Sturgis, fiancé of Dr. Barry C. West of Oakton, VA.

Other survivors include his ten grandchildren: Matthew Rozzi, Christopher Rozzi, Laura Rozzi, Phillip Rozzi, Joseph Rozzi, Ryan Murray, Hannah Murray, Peter Murray, Jr., Brandon Sturgis and Connor Sturgis.

Domenic is also survived by two siblings: Giancarlo “John”, husband of Linda (Merlino) Rozzi of Muhlenberg Township and Luciana (Rozzi) Ochs, widow of William Ochs of Fleetwood.

He will also be sadly missed by his large extended family.

He was preceded in death by three brothers: Lorenzo, Lucio and Camillo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 15th at 11 a.m. at Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605.  A viewing will be held Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.  Burial will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
