Dylan Alexander Carey, 19, of Birdsboro, unexpectedly passed away in Tower Health / Reading Hospital, on December 13, 2023.
Born in Reading, Pa on April 25, 2004, he was a son of Lisa C. (Brumwell), wife of Joseph B. Yost.
He was a 2022 graduate of Daniel Boone High School.
Dylan was last employed in the electronics department at Walmart, Exeter Township.
He was a member of Boyertown Rod and Gun Club and Next Level Martial Arts, Exeter Township.
Dylan enjoyed participating in the athletic training discipline of parkour with his best friend Zach.
His hobbies included video games, hiking, big game hunting, riding 4-wheelers, and spending time at the family cabin.
Dylan loved studying history, especially the history of wars and military.
He is also survived by his sister, Dalila Ann Carey and his maternal grandparents: Alexander, husband of Teresa Ann (Hatherley) Brumwell of Gilbertsville, Montgomery County.
Other survivors include his aunt, Hayley H. (Brumwell), wife of Jessie Alberts and their children: Gwendolyn, and Veronica, all of Milford Township, Bucks County.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 am in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley, PA 19547, with a service beginning at 11:00 am.
