Edith May Weidner

Edith Weidner, 93, of Reading, passed away February 8, 2024, in Philadelphia County. She was the wife of

the late Earl Weidner, who passed away in 1989.

Born in Auburn, PA (Schuylkill County), she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Sarah (Spatz) Moyer.

She was employed by Bachman Pretzels.

Edith loved country and old church music.

She is survived by her daughter: Sharon Mengel of Reading, a brother Lester and his wife Debbie of Auburn.

Also surviving are 3 nieces and 5 nephews.  2 grand nephews, 5 grand nieces and 2 great grand nephews.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter: Jacqueline Mengel, a brother William Moyer and a sister Marion Moyer.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
