Edward James Reppert Jr., 96, of Exeter Township, passed away December 29, 2024 at the Berkshire Commons.
He was the widower of Helen Cecelia (Stahl) Reppert, who died April 27. 2014.
Born January 11, 1928, in Reading he was the son of the late Edward James Reppert Sr. and Mary Rebecca (Leibold) Reppert.
Edward was a graduate of Northeast Junior Jr. High in Reading.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Edward was later employed by Reading Railroad Company as a car repairman for 38 years and retired in 1983.
Surviving are three step-children: Margaret (Millek) Bishop, wife of Charles L. Bishop of Harrisburg; John Millek, husband of Mary of York; and Vida Millek of Wake Forest, NC.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Edward is predeceased by eight siblings: Reynold Reppert; Bruce Victor Reppert; Clifford E. Reppert; Byron Leibold Reppert; Jane C. Murton; Lillian Reppert; Mary R. Yoder; and Jack Templin.
He is also predeceased by one step-son, Nicholas Millek (2020), and one grandson, Benjamin Millek.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
