Elaine Miller

Elaine Miller, 75, died September 22, 2025, in her Wernersville residence.

Born January 28, 1950, in West Reading, PA, she was a daughter of the late Robert P. and Sophie Agnes (Straka) Miller.

She was a 1968 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

Elaine was employed as a bank teller with the Bank of Pennsylvania, Wyomissing from 1971 – 1994.

She was later employed as a customer service representative with Sovereign Bank, Wyomissing from 1994 until her retirement in 1999.

Elaine enjoyed reading and walking.

She is survived by her two children: Heather Ann (Rathman), wife of Daniel Bowers of Sinking Spring, and Brett James Rathman of Wyomissing.

Elaine was the proud grandmother to two grandchildren: Titus James Bowers and Addison Olivia Grace Bowers.

She is also survived by two siblings: Roberta, wife of Richard Weiger of Spring Township and Glenn Miller of Reading.

Elaine was predeceased by three siblings: Kathleen Slegmilch; Lucille M. Genslinger; and Mark D. Miller.

Services were held privately in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.

Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
