Eloisa Cortes De Tinoco, 73, of Reading, died June 21, 2022 at Penn State Health – St. Joseph, Bern Township.
She was the widow of Amado Tinoco-Almanza who died in 2020.
Born February 11, 1949, in La Calera, GTO, Mexico, she was a daughter of the late Porfirdio Cortes and Maria Gonzalez.
Eloisa was a member of St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
She loved gardening and cooking; she took her role as a domestic wife and mother very seriously.
Surviving are her six children: Perla Tinoco, wife of Carlos Santillan of Laureldale; Nohemi Tinoco of Reading; Erika G. Tinoco, wife of Ulises Rivera of Reading; Maria Elizabeth Tinoco, wife of Joseph Webb of Green Bay, WI; Amado A. Tinoco of Reading; and Jose J. Tinoco, husband of Maria Sandoval of Muhlenberg Township.
There are also 13 grandchildren surviving: Humberto, Esmeralda, Julian, Carlos, Rubyliz, Yareli, Isaac, Ricardo, Adrian, Sofia, Ulises, Emilio, Mia, and one grandchild on the way. There is also a great grandson, Amado Santiago Tinoco.
Eloisa was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Isabella Tinoco Sandoval on November 29, 2016.
She was one of ten children.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 24th at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret’s R.C. Church, 925 Centre Ave., Reading.
Vieiwngs will be held Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Reading (Laurledale) and Friday morning from 10-11 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow mass at Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
