Eric James Snoke, 52, of Alsace Township, died June 14, 2025 in his parents residence after a long battle with cancer.
Born December 8, 1972 in Reading, PA., he was a son of Dennis R., and LouAnn (Degler) Snoke.
He was a 1990 graduate of Oley Valley High School and the Upper Bucks Aviation Maintenance Technical School.
Eric was employed as an aviation mechanic for private and corporate jets.
He was previously employed as a private aviation mechanic for Madison Square Gardens; flying with the New York Knicks and the New York Rangers.
Eric was also employed in the maintenance department from 2010-2024 with Reading Truck.
He was an Associate Member and former secretary of Dutchmen’s Hunting and Fishing Club, Tioga County, PA.
Eric enjoyed big and small game hunting; trout and stream fishing.
He especially loved dirt track racing anywhere he could find a track, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Eric is also survived by his daughter, Jayden Mercedes Irene Snoke and her mother, Christina (Dunlop) Snoke.
Other survivors include his maternal grandmother, Ruth (Sweitzer), widow of Oliver J. Degler of Ruscombmanor Township; and a brother, Troy Michael, husband of Joey Lynn (Donovan) Snoke, of Port Orchard, Washington.
Eric is also survived by a niece and nephew, Abby Snoke and Nate Snoke.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Jay W., and Betty Jane (Morrow) Snoke.
A viewing will be held Saturday, June 21st from 9:30 - 11:00 am in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley, with a service beginning at 11:00 am.
At Eric’s request please dress in casual clothing or Philadelphia Eagles gear.
In lieu of flowers, contributions for a college fund, may be made payable to Jayden Snoke and mailed to Tompkins VIST Bank, 3401 Pricetown Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522.
