Esther Mabel Noll

Esther Mabel Noll, 96, of Oley Township, passed away August 13, 2025 at Cornerstone Living Memory Care facility. 

She was the widow of Luther Noll Jr. who passed away in 1997. 

Born on November 24, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Wayne Reider and Eva (Readinger) Reider. 

Esther was a 1947 graduate of Oley Valley High School. She was a standout athlete in her high school years. She later went on to work at Saucony and Adidas Shoe Factory as an inspector from 1960 to 1993. 

In Esther’s free time she enjoyed spending time outside in her garden and doing yard work. When Esther was inside she would be completing word searches, baking, canning, and in her early years she loved to bowl. What brought her true joy was spending time with her grandchildren and family. 

She is survived by two children, John Noll Sr., husband of Kathy (Renner) Noll of Fleetwood, and Barbara (Noll), widow of Dennis Hill. 

Four grandchildren are surviving: Joshua Hill Sr., husband of Rachael (Amos); John Noll Jr., husband of Stacey (Orphanos); Joel Noll; and Jennifer (Hill), wife of Richard Sensenig Jr. As well as one step-grandchild, Nicole Valentine.

Also surviving are five great grandchildren: Joshua Hill Jr.; Madison Sensenig; Valerie Noll; John Noll; and Emma Noll. As well as four step-great grandchildren: Dominic; Jocelyn; Elias; and Isabella. 

Esther is predeceased by three siblings: Emma (Reider) Noll; Dora Reider; Mildred (Reider) Weitzel. 

A service will be held Monday, August 18, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Frieden’s Lutheran Church Oley PA. A visitation will be held an hour prior at the same location from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Spies Zion Cemetery.
