Fern M. (Heinly) Koch, 93, formerly of Fleetwood, died June 29, 2018 at Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading.
She was the widow of Leon R. Koch, who died in 1999. They had been married for 73 years.
Born April 2, 1925 in Virginville, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Bertha M. (Dietrich) Heinly.
Fern was a machine operator with Cluett Peabody, Inc., then Fleetwood Shire Corporation, Fleetwood for a total of 38 years, retiring in 1970.
A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fleetwood, she was also a former secretary for Fleetwood Senior Citizens Club.
Surviving is her daughter, Bonita A. (Koch), wife of Barry Witman of Mertztown, and one granddaughter, Brooke Witman of Kersey Colorado
Fern was predeceased by her son, Bryan L. Koch in 1945.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Fleetwood Cemetery, Main Street, Fleetwood. There will be no viewing.
