Florence (Pfautz) Eben

Florence (Pfautz) Eben, 95, of Laureldale, died May 27, 2025 at Tower Health – Reading Hospital, West Reading.

She was the widow of C. Frederick Eben, who died in 2005.

Born March 27, 1930, in Laureldale, she was a daughter of the late J. William and Florence (Ost) Pfautz.

Florence was a 1948 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

She was employed as a library clerk with Muhlenberg School District for 15 years, retiring in 1988.

Florence is survived by her three sons: Michael D. Eben, husband of Mildred of Wyomissing; Robert F. Eben, husband of Susan of Delray Beach, FL; and William C. Eben, husband of Anne of Kutztown.

Also surviving are her six grandchildren.

Florence was preceded in death by her two brothers, J. Henry Pfautz and W. Harold Pfautz.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
