Obituary
Gary Chester Herb, 74 of Longswamp Township, passed away January 14, 2023 in Willow Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
Born June 15, 1948 in Reading, he was the son of the late Chester and Mae (Howard) Herb.
Gary was employed as the sewage enforcement officer.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shringers and the Reading Motorcycle club.
Surviving are his three children: Melissa Herb of San Antonio, TX; Julia, wife of Lonnie Schott of Hickory Creek, TX and Slade Herb of San Antonio, TX.
Also surviving are his grandchildren: Kayla, wife of Justin Delong of Illinois and Slade Herb, II of San Antonio.
Great grandchildren: Justin and Austin Delong.
He was preceded in death by his sister Marcia Manwiller.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, January 23 at 11 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 423 Main Street, Oley. A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m.
