Harry Scott Hartranft

Harry Scott Hartranft, 66 of Laureldale passed away December 31, 2023 at his home.

Born August 6, 1957 in Reading, he was the son of the late Harry Irvin Hartranft and Marilyn M. (Entzminger) Hartranft of Temple.

Harry was employed by Wernersville state correctional facility as a correctional officer for many years.

He was known to many as "Hollywood Harry". Harry enjoyed hunting and talking about his deer stories and singing his favorite song "Wooly Bully" but most of all he loved spending

time with his family, especially at the family pool. 

He is survived by his mother; Marilyn and his sister; Sherry, wife of David Hinnershitz, of Temple.

Also surviving are a niece Krista L. Hartranft and two nephews Scott R.,(his godson),  husband of Arianna  Hinnershitz and Ryan I. Hinnershitz. In addition is his 

great niece Maddy and great nephew Jayce and brother in law Bobby Rhodes of Texas.

Harry was preceded in death by his sister: Robin A. Rhodes; a brother Brian K. Hartranft and sister in law Donna L Hartranft.
