Helen Elizabeth (Dutko) Graczyk

Helen Elizabeth (Dutko) Graczyk, 90, of Laureldale, passed away April 30, 2026, at Spruce Manor, West Reading.

Her late husband, Donald E. Graczyk, passed away in 2010.

Born November 10, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Andrew John and Susanna (Posivak) Dutko.

Mrs. Graczyk was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church and a graduate of Reading Catholic High School in 1954. 

She was employed as a shorthand typist with American Casualty for 4 years.

Helen enjoyed gardening, cooking, and reading.

Surviving are her two sons: John S., husband of Susan K. Graczyk of Savannah, GA and Donald A. Graczyk of Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Also surviving are her five grandchildren: Donald, Viktor, Brandon, Kelsey, and Arianna; and a great grandson, Donald Aiden.

Helen was preceded in death by a son, Joseph E. Graczyk in 2012, and by her four siblings: John and Mary Dutko, Sophie C. McDevitt, and Catherine V. Wentzel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 7th at 11 a.m. at Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading (Hyde Park), PA 19605.  There will be no viewing.  Burial will follow mass at Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Guardian Angels Regional School, 3125 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605.
