Helene Marie Alice Kofluk

Helene Marie Alice Kofluk, 77, of Lincoln, DE died May 10, 2025, at Bay Health Hospital, Dover, DE.

She is the wife of Harry John Kofluk, Jr., with whom she shared 57 years of marriage.

Born January 29, 1948, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Alice H. (Gomoskie) Fennessy.

Helene graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy and McCann School of Business.

She was employed by Schuylkill Products as a financial administrator for 38 years, retiring in 2014.

Helene was a member of St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Milford, DE.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her two children: Shawn D. Kofluk, husband of Sheri L. Kofluk, of Zion Grove and Dawn Marie E. (Kofluk) Harris, wife of Todd F. Harris of Leesport.

Other survivors include her grandchildren, Britany, Austin, Alexis, Connor, Joshua, and Jane, and her great-grandchildren, Bryce and Brody.

Helene was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John F. "Butch" Fennessy.

An avid shopper, Helene also enjoyed gardening, watching wildlife, traveling, talking with friends and family, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and granddogs (Oliver, Charlie, Jack, Cesky, and Ellie).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, May 19th at 12:00 p.m. at St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church, Whitfield.  A visitation will be held from 11 am -12 pm in the church.  Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to the Berks Humane Society or an animal shelter of your choosing in honor of Helene.
