Irvin Villasenor, 36, of Muhlenberg Township, died May 10, 2024 in Laureldale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
He was the husband of Michelle (Nye) Villasenor.
Born in Reading, PA on November 9, 1987, he was a son of Felipe Villasenor and Salustia Lopez De Villasenor.
Irvin was a 2006 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and attended Reading Area Community College.
He was employed as a maintenance mechanic with DEKA Battery for 9 years and later in the same capacity for 8 years with Carpenter Technology, last working four years ago.
Irvin was also a CrossFit Trainer with Hybrid Fitness for 8 years and B.E.T. (Berks Elite Training) for 4 years.
He could be found working out and training for his next CrossFit Competition, working on his cars, or riding his Harley.
Irvin was very charismatic, lovable and a big dreamer.
He always looked forward to his yearly trips to North Carolina beaches.
Irvin loved spending time with his family at cookouts or any family event.
He was the proud father to four children: Samuel, Liliana, Alisandra, and Benjamin.
Other survivors include his maternal grandmother, Esperanza Solorzano, widow of Gildardo Lopez and his paternal grandmother, Imelda Garcia, widow of Ricardo Villasenor, both of Mexico.
There are also two siblings surviving: Uriel Villasenor and Yenitze (Villasenor), wife of Manuel Chavez.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 17th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.
A second viewing will be held Saturday, May 18th from 9:00 – 10:00 am with funeral services starting at 10:00 am in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made payable to “Samuel Villasenor” and mailed, c/o Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605. The money raised will be used to start a college fund for Irvin’s four children.
