Iva Mae (Bell) Becker

Iva Mae (Bell) Becker, 96, passed away, Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Keystone Villa at Douglassville.

She is the beloved wife of Arthur Charles Becker.

Born in Murrysville, PA, she lived in Jeffersonville, PA and later resided in Oley, PA. She is the daughter of the late Roy Marvin, Sr., and Iva Frances (Laird) Bell.

Iva was a graduate from West Chester University and taught at Methacton for over 30 years. 

Iva is survived by two children: Kenneth Charles Becker, Germantown, MD; and Constance (Connie) Susan (Becker), wife of Kevin Martin, Margate City, NJ. Four grandchildren: Alison (Ulrich), wife of Stephen Pang, Brooklyn, NY: Jeremy Lee, husband of Clair Becker, Stark, NH; Meredith (Martin), wife of Patrick Mischler, Texarkana, TX; and Leah (Martin), wife of Aaron Duff, Benton, Pa.; and seven great grandchildren: Miles Pang; Christoper Becker; Henry Becker; Henry Mischler; Willow Duff; and Violet Duff; and Noah Pang also survive him. 

Iva was predeceased by three siblings: Roy Marvin Bell; Betty Jane (Bell) Rosenberg; and Virgil Laird Bell.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 12 P.M., at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes, 423 Main Street, Oley, PA 19547, with a light luncheon to follow. Burial will follow at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held, in the funeral home, from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Iva's honor to the Reading Symphony Orchestra, 147 North 5th Street #2, Reading, PA, 19601.
