Obituary

Jacqueline L. Bowman, 78 of Wyomissing passed away peacefully on May 23, 2023 in the Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Ronald L. Bowman and they were married for 57 years.

Born February 15, 1945, in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence V.  and Josephine T. (Gattone) Wells.

She was a 1963 graduate of Reading High School.

Jacqueline was employed as a secretary for Wyomissing School District, Boscov’s Credit Office and worked part time for DMS Industrial.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her sister: Cynthia, wife of Frank Mertz of Arkansas, brother-in-law Robert Bowman of South Carolina; 2 sisters in laws: Carol Bowman of Reading and Barbara Bowman of Mt. Penn. 6 nieces and 1 nephew along with their families also survive.

She was preceded in death by her sister: Deborah L. Wells. 

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 30th  at 11 am at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605.

In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County: 58 Kennel Rd, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
