Jane Susan Schmehl, 76, of Muhlenberg Township, died March 16, 2025 at University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born March 21, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Brooke Alvin Kunkleman and Helen Mary (Skabinski) Kunkleman.
Jane was a graduate of Wilson High School, and University of Iowa, where she earned her Master’s Degree.
She was employed as a dietician for many years. She was also a professor at Penn State, for over 20 years.
Jane loved all Philadelphia sports teams, but not as much as her cats – they were her world.
She was a member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C. Church, Exeter Township, for over 50 years.
Surviving are her two sons: Andrew Eaton, husband of Michelle of Muhlenberg Township and Jeffrey Eaton, husband of Beth of Miami, FL.
Also surviving are her four grandchildren: Jaela, Andrew, Eva and Titus.
In addition, she is survived by her two sisters, Carol Van Pelt of Houston, TX and Patricia Piontek of Temecula, CA.
Jane was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Eaton who died in August 14, 2017.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
