Janet Loretta Nolan, 75 of Reading passed away peacefully on November 19, 2022, at the Reading Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Born August 22, 1947, in Shamokin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elwood Leroy and Catherine L. (Beury) Lynch, the oldest of seven children.
Janet was a fiercely independent, determined, and motivated woman. She spent her career in sales, which was evident in her enthusiasm and personality. Whether a new moisturizer or cleaning product, she tried to "sell" it to her friends and family anytime she found a new product she loved. She worked at Laird Plastics (Columbus, OH & Bristol, PA), and was consistently a top salesperson in the company. She retired to spend time doing things she loved.
Janet was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church where she was very active. She enjoyed making candy, attending worship, spending time with her church family, and helping in any way she could to further the mission of the church.
She loved playing games on her iPad, knitting, cleaning, taking care of her grand-dogs, doing DIY projects, gardening, video chatting with her family who lives out-of-state and spending time with family and friends nearby.
She is survived by her daughter: Kathi, wife of Troy Keller of Fayetteville, NC. Her granddaughters: Lauren Wolfe Blatt and her wife Hannah of Reading and Staff Sergeant Jordan, wife of Sergeant Julian Quinonez of Fort Bragg, NC. Also, surviving are her great-grandchildren: Sophia, Norah, Savanna, and her cats Shorty and Mew Mew.
She was preceded in death by her sister Roxy and her beloved friend John Adam.
Services will be held in the Spring.
