Jean Delong Obituary
Jean Delores Delong, 95, of Reading, PA, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the St. Francis Home in Shillington.
She was the widow of Donald Delong who passed away in 2023.
Born December 26, 1930 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Wertz Sr. and Esther (Bucks) Wertz.
During her working years she was employed by Berkshire Knitting Mills as a Pre-boarder and was later employed by Grafika Print which she retired from in 1987.
In Jean’s free time she loved to play bingo.
She is survived by one brother, Dennis B. Wertz of Reading, PA.
Jean was predeceased by three siblings: Irene D. (Wertz) Lape; Frederick R. Wertz Jr.; and Lean C. Wertz.
Services will be private at the convience of the family.
