Jean Ann (Pike) Mogel, 83, died May 3, 2021 in her Reading residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Clifford Mogel in 2000.
Born, November 29, 1937, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late James A. Pike, Sr. and Florence H. (Wadlinger) Pike.
Jean was a 1955 graduate of Reading High School. She then furthered her education by taking banking classes.
She was employed with Bank of Pennsylvania for 15 years; first as a bank teller and then as a banker in the trust department. Most recently, she worked for a stockbroker as an administrative assistant for 10 years.
Jean was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Reading.
Surviving is her son, Michael S. Farrier of Springfield, MA, and by her brother, Clifford Pike of Temple.
Jean was preceded in death by a son, Patrick T. Farrier, who died in 2016; and by her five siblings: Margaret, Rose, Donald, and James.
Graveside services will be private at Aulenbach Cemetery, Reading.
