Jeannette Marie Seigfried, 70, of Fleetwood passed away December 28, 2024 at her residence.
She was the wife of Dr. Bruce Tollin with whom she shared 28 years of marriage.
Born on July 22, 1954, in Fort Worth, Texas, she was the daughter of Tokoyo Wilby and the late Edgar Seigfried.
Jeannette graduated from Perkiomen Valley High School, started her undergrad at Penn State University and received her bachelor's degree at Ursinus. She later obtained her master's degree at the University of Delaware.
In her early years she worked as a journalist and then managed the dental practice which her husband Bruce owned. Later in life she grew a strong passion for horses and successfully operated a horse breeding facility for more than 10 years. Injuries and illness forced her to retire, and she then spent her days reading and painting.
She is survived by two children, Hiroko Petrauskas, wife of Jason Moyer of Stoney Creek Mills, PA, and Caitlin Piunt of Birdsboro.
Also surviving are two grandchildren, Ava Weber and Jameson Moyer.
She was loved by many, and will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the American Autism Association.
Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Oley is in charge of arrangements.
