Jeffrey Allen Chubb

Jeffrey Allen Chubb, 67 of Fleetwood, passed away November 16, 2023 in his Ruscombmanor Township home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the husband of Carolann (Berndt) Chubb, whom he married June 29, 1985.

Born May 2, 1956 in West Reading, PA, he was the son of Dolores Mae (Schittler) Chubb of Fleetwood, and the late John Richard Chubb, Sr.

He was a 1974 Oley Valley High School graduate.

Jeffrey was employed as a welder with Pinnacle in Oley, Dana Corporation, Reading and lastly with Boyertown Furnace in Boyertown until his retirement in 2020.

He was a member of the Pricetown Rob and Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, small and big game, played slow pitch and fast pitch softball for years, loved watching his children’s sporting events. Jeff was also an avid Philadelphia Sports Fan and loved NASCAR.

In addition to his wife and mother Jeff is survived by his children: Alicia Marie Fields, companion of Michael Ray Paskel of Boyertown; Travis Allen Chubb, husband of Jessica Ann (Tyler) Chubb of Auburn, and Lauren Allison (Chubb), wife of Chad Michael Mertz of Shoemakersville.

He was the proud grandfather of four Grandchildren: Kaelynn Hope Mertz, Madison Elizabeth Chubb, Garrett Allen Chubb and Averi Hope Mertz.

Also surviving are his siblings: John Richard Chubb Jr., of Kutztown; Jacqueline, wife of Barry Moyer of Yorktown, Virginia; June (Chubb) Adams of Leesport; Karen (Chubb), wife of Troy Eschbach of Fleetwood; and Scott, husband of Becky Chubb of Ephrata.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
