Jeffrey Richard Jackson, 75, of Muhlenberg Township, died unexpectedly, on April 28, 2022 following an automobile accident.
He was the loving husband of Sandra Ann (Speck) Jackson of 36 years.
Born March 29, 1947, in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Richard and Joan Jackson.
Jeffrey attended Muhlenberg High School.
He and his family grew up with very little but that didn’t stop him from becoming a highly successful self-made entrepreneur, owning multiple pre-owned car dealerships, including Jeff's Auto Sales, for 35 years retiring in 2010 and running his real estate business. He was later employed part-time with Steve Moyer Auto Sales as a car wholesaler from 2010-2020. Jeffrey was a member of the Berks County Auto Dealerships Association.
Jeffrey enjoyed the casinos, cooking, antiquing, and shopping for good deals
His greatest love was his family, spending as much time as possible with his children and grandchildren. Most memorable times were spending summers with his family at their beach house, fishing, crabbing, boating on the bay, and just being at the beach together.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Bryan C., husband of Kelly R. (Smith) Jackson of District Township; Matthew J., husband of Brooke Lynn (Olafsen) Vernon of Windsor Township; Lindsey M., wife of Ryan J. Lenich of Perry Township and Brianne N., wife of Daniel M. Albaugh of East Earl Township, Lancaster County.
He was the proud grandfather to four grandchildren: Kyle A. Vernon, Madison A. Vernon, Conner R. Lenich and Nolan D. Albaugh.
Other survivors include five siblings: Raymond, husband of Dolly Jackson, Beverly, wife of Larry Black, Gregory Jackson, Elizabeth "Liz" Perrotto and Richard, husband of Joan Jackson.
He will also be missed by his furry friend Roxie.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his son Michael A. Jackson (1967-2013), as well as his dog Cali.
Services will be held Saturday, May 7th at 11 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. A viewing will be held from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
