Jennifer Buchert

Jennifer Lynn Buchert, 40, of Temple, died unexpectedly on April 23, 2024. 

Born December 7, 1983, in Reading, she was a daughter of Joseph W. Buchert, Sr. and Sandra L. (Hartberger) Buchert of Temple.

She was a 2002 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.  

Jennifer was employed in production with Mail Shark for several years.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, Hyde Park.

Jennifer played softball and ran track in high school, enjoyed playing pool, and talked often of going on trips to concerts with her son.   One of her favorite pastimes was to go fishing.  She enjoyed fishing trips with family and wasn’t afraid to get dirty baiting a hook or cleaning a fish. Socially, she was a member of Central Fire Company.  She was a huge ‘Stitch’ fan, so much so that she was overjoyed to meet his character and hug him during a family trip to Disney in 2019.  She enjoyed other family vacations over the years and is fondly remembered smiling wide in many family photos from those trips.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, is her son, Hayden D. Christman of Temple; her brother, Joseph W. Buchert, Jr., husband of Shawn P. Robbins of Lancaster, and their two children, Autumn M. and Rhys K.

Jennifer was preceded in death by a son, Drake Michael Christman.

Prayer services will be held Monday, April 29th at 11:30 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.  A viewing will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m.  Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
