Joanne Mae (Breneman) Morey

Joanne Mae (Breneman) Morey, 87, of Alsace Township and formerly of Millsboro, Delaware, died October 13, 2025 in Willow Brook Rehabilitation and Health Center.

She was the widow of Irvin Arthur Morey, Sr, whom she married in 1952.

Born in Mohnton, Pennsylvania February 3, 1938, she was a daughter of the late John K., and Josephine M. (Dillon) Breneman.

Joanne was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and a member of New Life Bible Fellowship Church, Oley.

She was employed as a sales representative with AVON for a number of years.

Joanne is survived by three sons: Bret D., husband of Sandra M. (Bare) Morey of Ephrata; Kent D., husband of Debbie (Buda) Morey of Maidencreek Township; and Irvin A. Jr., widower of Nancy S. (Brendel) Morey of Alsace Township.

She was the proud grandmother to five grandchildren: Justin D., husband of Megan (Nicholas) Morey; Kevin M. Morey; Christie (Coleman), wife of Brandon Read; Michael I., husband of Jade T. Morey; and Angeline H. (Morey), wife of Takuya M. Tyree.

Other survivors include nine great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Monday, October 20th from 9:00 - 10:00 am in New Life Bible Fellowship Church, 2960 West Philadelphia Avenue, Oley, PA 19547, with a memorial service beginning at 10:00 am, with Pastor Ryan Diffenderfer officiating. 

Burial will follow the service, in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
