John David “Jack’ Quinter, 75, of Reading, died January 7, 2026 in his residence.
He was the husband of Nancy J. (Stoudt) Quinter.
Born August 16, 1950, he was a son of the late Daniel A. and Mamie (Reich) Quinter.
John was a 1968 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.
He was employed for over 25 years as a supervisor with W.R. Grace.
John enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing his guitar, riding his motorcycle and doing crossword puzzles and playing cards with his mom. When his daughters were young, he enjoyed yearly camping trips with his family.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his three daughters: Tara M. Quinter, wife of Michael S. Humbert of Leesport; Jessica A. Quinter of Lincoln Park, MI; and Sarah J. Quinter of Blandon.
Also surviving is his brother, Daniel L., husband of Donna Quinter of Alsace Township, and their children, Melissa and Daniel.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
