John Edward Siatkowski

John Edward Siatkowski, 75, died February 18, 2024 in his Spring Township residence.

He was the husband of Cheryl Dawn (Betz) Siatkowski.

Born November 13, 1948 in Reading, PA, he was a son of the late Edward J. and Stefania (Surowiec) Siatkowski.

John was a Sgt in the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War.

He was a 1966 graduate of Holy Name High School.

John was a people person and loved dealing with customers.  His personality shined the brightest while taking care of family, friends, and customers.  He was employed as a salesman for a number of years with Sears, Wyomissing, in the men’s suits department and the electronic department.  He was last employed in customer services and in the appliances department with Lowes, Spring Township, before retiring in 2022.

He is also survived by a son, Michael B., husband of Desiree (Hottel) Siatkowski, of Maidencreek Township.

John was the proud grandfather to two grandchildren: Noah Lee Hottel of Oley Township and was affectionately known as Happy to his granddaughter Elizabeth Lee Siatkowski of Maidencreek Township.

Other survivors include a sister, Eileen J. Tumminello, companion of Robert Dudek of Muhlenberg Township, and her children: Michele, wife of David Mickonis, Angela Sheridan, and James Jr., husband of Antonette Tumminello.

There are also two great nieces: Kylie and Kelsey Atkinson and a great nephew Connor Sheridan.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
