June R. Kunkelman

June R. (Wengert) Kunkelman, 98, of Muhlenberg Township, died July 19, 2021 at Berks Heim, Bern Township.
 
She was the widow of Ralph W. Kunkelman who died April 3, 1998.
 
Born, June 21, 1923, in Hamburg, she was a daughter of the late Darius and Pearl (Althouse) Wengert.
 
June was a 1942 graduate of Hamburg High School.
 
She was employed in the returns department of David Crystal, Reading, for 16 years, retiring in 1985.
 
June was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Reading.
 
Surviving are her two daughters: Diane L. (Kunkelman), wife of David Wahl of Columbia, SC and Beth A. (Kunkelman) Reed of Cumru Township; and her daughter-in-law, Karen Kunkelman.
 
Also surviving are her 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
 
June was preceded in death by her son, Timothy R. Kunkelman, who died in 2017; and her three siblings, Dorothy Siple, Mildred Lindenmuth and Harold Wengert.
 
Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.  A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
