Karl Allen Ripple, 86 formerly of Muhlenberg Township, passed away October 31, 2023 in the Reading Hospital.
Born February 26, 1937 in West Reading, PA, he was the son of the late William A. and Rosie A. (Umbenhauer) Ripple.
Karl proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for 31 years as an equipment operator, retiring 1997 and was a life member of the Reading Fire Company (Riverside Fire Department).
Karl enjoyed NASCAR Racing at the Pocono Raceway.
Surviving are his brother: Milton Adam Ripple, widow of Jeanne (Trenaman) of Wyomissing.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Elizabeth May Werner; Catherine A. Geissler;William “Bill” George Ripple ; Virginia May Ripple ; Robert Ripple; George Ripple and Karlene Ann Miller, who was Karl’s Twin.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11am at the Stitzel Funeral Home, 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA. A viewing will be held from 10-11 am at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
