Kerry Lee Shade

Kerry L. Shade, 65, died, January 4, 2021 in his Pike Township residence.

Born, August 29, 1955, in Reading, he was a son of the late Raymond L. Shade and D. Naomi (Mathias) Templin.

He was a 1973 graduate of Oley Valley High School.

Kerry was employed as a maintenance worker with First Energy for 20 years, retiring in 2018.

He was a member of Oley Fire Company, Pike Township Sportsmen’s Association, and Berks Hunting Camp.

Surviving is his daughter, Jennifer L. Savage; and his two grandchildren, Chloe R. Savage and Austin B. Savage.

Services will be held Wednesday, January 13th at 11 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley.  A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Lobach’s Cemetery, Pike Township.
