Kevin Jeffrey Engleman

Kevin Jeffrey Engleman, 71, of Fleetwood, passed away February 19, 2025 at his residence. 

Born December 22, 1953, he was the son of the late Harold Engleman Sr. and Lizzie (Schmoyer) Engleman.

Kevin was a 1971 graduate of Reading High School. 
Kevin owned and operated a hairstyling salon in Berks County since 1978. He was active in the National Cosmetology Association and Pennsylvania Cosmetology Association for many years in the capacity of State and local President and committee member.  Kevin served as a State Board proctor in the Lancaster, Harrisburg areas during the late 1980’s and 1990’s. Member of Occupational Advisory Committee for Berks County Vo Tech Center, East & West and was also a substitute teacher there as well. What brought him true happiness was spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. 

Surviving are two children, Matthew David Engleman, husband of Karen (Dreibelbis) Engleman of York and Eric Allen Engleman, husband of Sherry (Maulick) of Reinholds. 

Also surviving are five grandchildren: Ethan James Engleman; Ryan Kelly Engleman; Alex William Engleman; Samuel Allen Engleman; and Isaac Matthew Engleman. 

There are eight siblings still surviving: Ronald E. Engleman, husband of Marie (Weller) of Boyertown; Judith Laureano, widow of Manuel of Reading; Harold E. Engleman Jr., husband of Dorothy of Bellefonte; Timothy J. Engleman of Spring Township; Joleen Szilli, widow of Richard of Boyertown; Mark H. Engleman, husband of Kay (Blakeslee) of Boyertown; Neil S. Engleman of Mohton; Janice Snyder, wife of Peter of Breinigsville, PA. 

Services will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 11 a.m at the Stitzel Family Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, laureldale, PA 19605. A visitation will be held prior from 10 a.m - 11 a.m. Burial will be at a later date.
