Leonard Donald Trout, Jr., 94, of Blandon, died November 12, 2025 at Tower Health - Reading Hospital, West Reading.
He was the widower of Ruth I. (Schell) Trout who died in 2020.
Born June 30, 1931, he was a son of the late Leonard D. Trout, Sr. and Viola May (Hetrick) Trout.
Leonard was employed with Willson Safety Products and Carpenter Technology, from where he retired.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Leonard and his wife enjoyed many years at their beach home in Leisure Point, DE, where he spent much of his time fishing.
He loved bike riding, playing cards, going to the casino, golfing, and rooting for the Phillies. He also played the chimes at Keystone Villa.
Leonard was a jack of all trades - he was a PA champion trap shooter, part of the traveling cornhole team at Keystone Villa, a caddy at Berkshire Country Club, a driver for The Highlands, and a school bus driver.
A bluebird enthusiast, he raised bluebirds and built bluebird houses.
Surviving are his five nieces and one nephew: Diane Jaquay, Lori Greene, Amy Padis, James Stoudt, Penny Hinson, and Wendy Campbell; and several cousins.
He was also preceded in death by his two sisters, Shirley M. Price and Joan Schoenly; and by a niece, Kelly Jo Kistler.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 W. Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606.
