Linda Angstadt

Linda Ann Angstadt, 67, of Oley, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Reading Hospital surrounded by her family. 

She was the loving wife of James Angstadt who she married in November 1988. 

Born on October 17, 1958, in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Batdorf and Evelyn (Webb) Batdorf. 

Linda was a 1976 graduate of Reading High. After graduating she had a number of jobs. Her most recent being a sales clerk representative at Weis Markets from 2016 to 2026. 

Any time someone was in need of help Linda would be there offering a helping hand. She loved taking care of family and friends. When not taking care of others she showed her competitive nature with her love for bowling. Linda was in the Oley Fire Company Bowling League. In the free time that she had Linda loved spending time by a body of water, whether that be a pool or soaking up the sun at the beach. She also had a love for animals, especially cats and dogs. 

She is survived by three children: Candice Smith of Oley, PA; Daniel Angstadt, husband of Jennifer Angstadt of Clarks Summit, PA; and Kristy Angstadt of Chagrin Falls, OH. 

Also surviving are two grandchildren, Dylan Smith and Teagan Angstadt. 

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
