Linda Ann “Lynn” (Strouse) Schwambach, 78, passed away peacefully, on April 25, 2026, in her South Heidelberg Township home, with her loving family by her side.
She was the wife of George A. Schwambach, Jr., with whom she shared 47 years of marriage.
Born October 3, 1947, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Horace R. and Sadie K. (Bressler) Strouse.
Lynn was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School.
She was the co-owner of Economy Roofing for 36 years, retiring in 2015.
Lynn was a member of Spring Valley Church of God, Muhlenberg Township.
Lynn lived and loved with all her heart. She found joy in the simple things in life, but nothing meant more to her than spending time with family and friends. Her warmth, kindness and love touched so many lives. She was deeply adored and cherished by many, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her four children: George A. Schwambach, III., fiancé of Michelle Lopez of Wyomissing; Wendy L. (Martz), wife of Bruce Drago of Leesport; Darren P., husband of Beverly Schwambach of Wyomissing; and Chris M., husband of Stacey Martz of Wernersville.
Also surviving are her 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and by her sister, Valeria Kipp of Reading.
Lynn was preceded in death by her sister, Vicky Strouse and by her sister-in-law, Louise Gibson.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, May 1st at 11 a.m. at Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Road, Temple.
