Lisa Ann Ecker, 56, of Oley, died March 22, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem.
She was the wife of Richard Scott Ecker, with whom she shared over 12 years of marriage.
Born, November 4, 1964, in Pottstown, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Ronald D. and Charlene M. (Albright) Swavely.
Lisa was a 1982 graduate of Oley Valley High School.
A self-employed hairstylist, she was the owner/operator of Cutters Korner, Exeter for 26 years, from 1984-2010. Subsequently she worked as a bartender at Ozgoods in Kutztown from 2013-2018. Most recently, she was the hairstylist at Keystone Ville for the past few years.
Lisa was a member of Frieden’s Lutheran Church, Oley.
An avid cyclist and lover of the outdoors, she covered 29 states on her bike, which she affectionately referred to as “Hope.”
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her three children: Mitchell G. Seidel, companion of Lindsay Brown of West Reading; Kolbey M. (Seidel), wife of Terrence McAllister of Washington, PA; and Rikki L. (Ecker), wife of Jason Swavely of Rockland Township.
There are also four grandchildren.
Other survivors include her siblings, Scott E., husband of Cathy (A.) Melcher Swavely of Ruscombmanor Township; Gregory A., husband of Kristie (Majeski) Swavely of Oley; and Kelley M. Swavely-Loy, wife of John C. Loy, Jr. of Exeter Township.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 26th at 6 p.m. at the Oley Community Fair Center, 26 Jefferson Street, Oley. A visitation will be held from 4 – 6 p.m.
