Margaret Ann Humphreys

Margaret “Peggy” Ann (Greiss) Humphreys, passed away on June 27, 2022 at Berks Heim.

She is predeceased by her parents; Robert and Irene (Gray) Greiss; her sister, Barbara Raup; and brother-in-law, John Raup. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Jane Humphreys and son, John Steward Humphreys Jr., husband of Catherine.

Peggy was a graduate of West Chester University where she studied education. She worked as a teacher until her daughter was born. Then she was a stay at home mom. When she went back to work, she worked as an office manager at KenCrest in Pottstown until her retirement in 2017.

Peggy was an animal lover and always had dogs in the house that were her babies. She was an expert markswoman who won State Champion for skeet. She was even more proud of shooting two full rounds of skeet without missing a shot.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 1st at 11AM at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, 225 Belmont Avenue Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
