Marie Dolores (Nasuti) Scislaw, 90, of Bern Township, died January 23, 2025 at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center.
She was the widow of Gene Scislaw and is survived by their children Steven, Michael, and Mary (Strynar), grandchildren Axel and Ari, and by her siblings Richard Nasuti, Jr., husband of Jacqueline of Lawrence Township, New Jersey and Phyllis “Stella” (Nasuti), wife of Robert Shumski of Shenandoah.
Her beloved husband Gene and their son Gene Scislaw, Jr. unfortunately passed before her as did her siblings James J. Nasuti, Matilda Benedetti, Rose Ann Moffat, and Anna C. Kinderman.
She was a devoted wife and the best mother anyone could have, and her family meant everything to her.
Born in Shenandoah, Schuylkill County on October 31, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Riccardo “Richard” and Philomena “Mamie” (Bova) Nasuti and graduated from Cooper High School.
She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park, where a private mass will be held.
Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
