Mary Delong, 98 of Wernersville passed away March 12, 2023 in Phoebe Berks Village.
She was the wife of the Eugene Keehn, who passed away in 1989 and Barry Delong who passed away in 2011.
Born March 14, 1924 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Mable (Dilliplane) Enoch.
She was a graduate of Oley Valley High School and attended West Chester University.
Mary was the co-owner, Keehn Lumber & Supply, Oley PA. In 1950’s & 1960’s was active in & held
offices in Oley, Woman’s Club, Oley Area School Parent Association, Oley Valley Community Fair, Oley Hospital. She was in the auxiliary for Friedens
Lutheran Church & Sunday School, Oley Community Bible School, Oley Cub Scouts, Oley Camp Fire Girls,Oley 4H Girls.
While living at Phoebe she was active in; Phoebe Residents Council, Financial Advisory Committee ,Phoebe Chorale’s, Travel Committee. Also, a volunteer
in Phoebe Berks Village, Village Commons, Health Care Center, Village Gardens and active member of Phoebe Berks Heath Care Auxiliary. Served as chapel
pianist for services and played for special services and special occasions. Organized Hymn Sings and Holiday Song Times and was the accompanist for them.
Surviving are her children: Mark J. Keehn, Newnan, Georgia, Brenda L Keehn Myers, Hughesville, PA.
6 Keehn grandchildren; 1 step grandchild and 10 Great grandchildren
9 Delong grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her extended family: Dorothy DeLong Rapp of Reading, PA; Joan DeLong Adams of Douglassville, PA; Bruce DeLong of
Douglassville, PA and Barbara DeLong Hanna of Douglassville, PA.
She was preceded in death by her son David L. Keehn,; Sister , Sara Enoch Breidegam and brothers: Robert Enoch, Aaron Fredrick Enoch and Paul Enoch.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
