Mary Anna Seaman

Mary Anna Seaman, 90, of Laureldale, passed away July 13, 2024 at Berks Heim Nursing Home, Leesport. 

She was a loving wife of Donald E. Seaman, who died on June 23, 2006. 

Born on June 7, 1934, in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph, and Teresa (Gruber) Maier. 

Mary was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and was employed by Berks Heim, as a CNA, for 20 plus years. 

In her later years Mary became an avid reader, enjoyed playing games on her computer, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

Surviving are three of her children: Patricia, wife of Jeffrey Schmeck of Laureldale; Ronald, husband of Doreen Ulrich of Bernville; and Sandra, wife of Bobby Trexler of York, PA. She was predeceased by her son Michael Seaman who passed in 2016.  

Also surviving are eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. 

The family would like to thank the entire staff on B2 at Berks Heim for the care they gave Mary while she was there. 

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 18th at 10 a.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 W. Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606.
