MaryJane Jackson Obituary

MaryJane Ethel “Ginger” Jackson , 79 of Reading, passed away October 29, 2024, in the Reading Hospital. 

She was predeceased in death by her loving husband Charles Edward Jackson, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.

Born April 9, 1945, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Ethel and Peter DiTullo.

During her working years she was employed by Adelphi Kitchens & Cabinetry as a cabinet sander. 

MaryJane’s main joy in life was spending time with her loving family. She also enjoyed going to craft shows with her daughter Cookie, in addition to joining her for manicures and pedicures. In her spare time she loved to spend time at the beach and playing cards with her family. 

Surviving are her two children: Charlene “Cookie” Roman-Holland, wife of Kevin Holland of West Reading and Brian K. Roman of West Reading. 

Also surviving are her four grandchildren: Erika (Schlegel) Ream, wife of Justin Ream of Washington Borough, PA; Chad Michael Schlegel, husband of Jessica of Boyertown; Brandon Roman, husband of Alicia of Mohnton; and Kendra A. Roman of West Reading. Seven great grandchildren: Dakota Ream, Addison Ream, Charlotte Ream, Cullen “CJ” Ream, Carter Schlegel, Elle Schlegel, and Avery Schlegel. 

Other survivors include her siblings; Rose Marie (DiTullo), wife of Garry Cooper of Douglassville, Jerry DiTullo, husband of Barbara of Blandon, and Ronald “Sonny” DiTullo of Reading.
