Maurice Henry Brumbach, of Exeter Township, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Reading Hospital.
He was the widower of Ellen (Reeser) Brumbach.
Born on August 14, 1931, in Stonersville, PA, Maurice was the son of the late Wayne Brumbach and Elda (Hoyer) Brumbach.
Maurice spent 35 dedicated years working as a forklift operator for Associated Wholesalers, Inc. He was an active member of his community—faithfully helping make Easter Eggs for Schwarzwald UCC and volunteering at the Oley Fair. In his free time, he found joy in tending his garden, playing dominos, and setting off on road trips across the country. Hardworking, kind-hearted, and always ready to help, Maurice lived a life rooted in generosity. He cherished Thursday night dinners with friends and treasured building inventions with his grandson.
He is survived by two grandchildren, Kylene (Boyer) Jones, of Exeter Township, and Kaitlyn (Boyer) Pucciarmati, wife of Carlo, of Philadelphia. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren: Evianna Jones; Trevyn Jones; Giulio Pucciarmati; and Azzurra Pucciarmati, with whom he shared a birthday.
Maurice was predeceased by his daughter, Cynthia (Brumbach) Boyer, and by seven siblings: Daniel Brumbach; Wayne Brumbach; Lester Brumbach; Ruth (Brumbach) Arters; June (Brumbach) Straka; Shirley (Brumbach) Angstadt; and Pearl Brumbach.
A private graveside service will be held at Oley Cemetery, Spangsville at the family’s convenience.
Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Oley, is in charge of arrangements.
