Melissa Ann (Wentzel) Holland

Melissa Ann (Wentzel) Holland, 77, died July 21, 2024 in her Maidencreek Township residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the loving wife of Edward R. Holland, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.

Born November 8, 1946, in Oley, she was a daughter of the late Melvin Charles and Marie Ann (Lengel) Wentzel.

Melissa held various secretarial positions after raising her children.

She enjoyed making pottery for many years, and loved painting, especially Dutch designs.

Surviving are her two children: Michael W. Hildebrand of Oley and Steven E., husband of Amy L. Holland of Blandon.

Also surviving are her three grandchildren, Eden M. Burke, Stephanie K. Hildebrand, and Mallory L. Reppy, and her two great grandchildren.

In addition, she is survived by her brother, Michael C. Wentzel, husband of Carol of Oley, and her nieces and nephews, Michael C. Wentzel, Mark C. Wentzel, and Michelle Wentzel.

Melissa was preceded in death by her brother Arlan C. Wentzel.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
