Michael A. Giannini, 83, of Mohnton, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Mifflin Center Nursing Home.
He was the widower of Glenna (Forquer), who passed away in September 2021.
Born September 19, 1941, in New Britain, Connecticut, he was the son of the late John Giannini and Jeannie (Casella) Giannini.
Michael was a dedicated father, grandfather, educator, artist, and musician. In Michael’s free time he enjoyed spending time in his gardens and was also a great woodworker. He had great attention to detail and a strong passion for building dollhouses. Michael would build and paint almost everything from scratch to make his beautiful masterpieces. He loved to take his yearly trips to Cape Cod with his late wife,Glenna, where they would spend time antiquing and enjoy the great food. What brought him true joy was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Michael is survived by two children, Mary Plummer, wife of John of Mohnton, and Michael Giannini, husband of Martina (Kado) of Sparrows Point, MD.
Also surviving are two grandchildren, Anthony J. Plummer, and Adam J. Plummer.
Michael was predeceased by one brother, John Giannini.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
