Michael John Gross

Michael Gross, 77, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 at his residence. 

He was the widower of Arvilla Gross who passed away in 2021. 

Born November 18, 1948 he was the son of the late Francis Eugene Gross and June H. Becker. 

Michael was a  1966 graduate of Reading High School. After graduating from high school he went on to obtain his associates degree from Penn State. 

During his working years he was employed at Dana Corporation for over 30 years as an electrician. 

In Michael's free time he loved tinkering and fixing electronic objects. He was an electronic hobbyist and always enjoyed working. 

He is survived by three brothers: John Gross, widower of Brenda Gross of Exeter Township; Stephen Gross of Laureldale; and Christopher Gross of Laureldale. 

A service will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 12 p.m. at the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Laureldale. A viewing will take place prior from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the same location. Burial will follow the service and will take place at Gethsemane Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Holy Guardian Angels RCC.
