Michael Notario

Michael Anthony Notario, 75, of Wyomissing, died February 25, 2026 at Tower Health - Reading Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. 

He was the husband of Mary Rose (Reber) Notario, with whom he spent 53 years of marriage.

Born November 13, 1950, he was a son of the late Joseph and Concetta (Zampelli) Notario.

Michael was a 1968 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School.

He was employed as a maintenance supervisor with Firestone Tire and Rubber, Pottstown; Palmer Candy Company, Reading; and Dorma Door Controls/Dormakaba, Reamstown, where he retired from in April, 2018.

An avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, he was also a former coach for youth baseball and soccer.

Michael loved cars - he owned numerous Corvettes over the years, and enjoyed going to car shows.  He also enjoyed golfing.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, is his son, Justin M., husband of Melanie B. Notario of Dillsburg, PA; and his grandson, Broderick S. Notario.

Also surviving are his brother, Joseph Notario, Jr. of Green Hills, and his sister, Bonita, wife of Thomas Rochowicz of Pennside.

A Prayer Service will be held Saturday, March 7th at 11 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.  A viewing will be held from 9:30-11 a.m.  Burial will be at Laureldale Cemetery.
