Michael John Poserina

Michael John Poserina, 72, of Fleetwood, PA passed away on May 7th, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the cherished husband of Barbara Jean (Paslowsky) Poserina, with whom he shared 42 years of devoted marriage.

Born April 18th, 1952 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Edward and Frances (Tumasz) Poserina. He was a graduate of Philadelphia College of Textiles of Science (now Thomas Jefferson University) where he earned a master’s degree in business administration. Michael brought his intellect and dedication to his career where he worked as a Financial Controller.

Michael was a passionate fan of Philadelphia sports, he also had a love for old movies, classic rock music, and vintage cars, and he was an avid collector of baseball cards. Above all, Michael cherished his family, who were the cornerstone of his life.

Michael leaves behind his beloved wife, Barbara, and his two children: Stephen Poserina of Haverford, PA, and Kristen Poserina of Quakertown, PA. He is also survived by his brothers: Thomas Poserina of Schwenksville, PA, James Poserina of Longwood, FL, and Robert Poserina of Port St. Lucie, FL.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 20th at 11am at St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606. A viewing will be held from 10-11 am at the church.

Michael’s life was a testament to his values of love, commitment, and resilience.
