Michael D. “Mickey” Nagle

Michael D. “Mickey” Nagle, 61, died unexpectedly, on March 12, 2023, in his Bethel residence.

He was the loving husband of Michael S. Bachman, with whom he shared almost 9 years of marriage.

Born March 1, 1962, in Reading, he was a son of the late Stephen P. and Dorothy K. (Harnly) Nagle.

Mickey was the owner and operator of Majestic Florals by Mickey, Reading, for over 30 years.  His passion was using his artistic skill to make beautiful floral arrangements for others to enjoy.  The celebrity functions that Mickey did are too numerous to mention.

He loved jewelry and antiques and enjoyed going to casinos.

Surviving, in addition to his husband, are his two stepchildren: Eric M. Bachman of Bethel, and Kristine F. Quick of Hamburg; and a granddaughter, Alex.

Other survivors include his three siblings: Mark S., husband of Robin D. (Downey) Nagle; Stephen P. Nagle, Jr., husband of Crystal L. (Lutz) Nagle; and Denise K. (Nagle), wife of Robert Weaver of Bernville.

There are also many nieces and nephews who survive him.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 17th at 12 noon at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.  

Viewings will be held Thursday evening from 6-8, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the services, at Fairview Cemetery, Shillington.
