Mildred Gladys Keller, 94, formerly of Oley, died January 2, 2025 at Keystone Villa at Fleetwood.
She was the widow of Abraham H. Keller, Jr. who died March 25, 2018. They had shared almost 67 years of marriage.
Born March 31, 1930 in Boyertown, she was the daughter of the late Baker T. Gresh and Sarah (Bartman) Gresh-Hall.
In her early years, Mildred was employed at TUNG-SOL where she met her husband. She spent most of her life as a homemaker caring for her family, but also worked for a short time as a cashier at IGA in Oley and subsequently, at Charcoal Chef where she made desserts, her specialty being toasted coconut cream pie.
She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Oley, where she was the second oldest member.
Mildred enjoyed playing the piano, crocheting, sewing, and collecting rooster figurines.
She cooked for the Boyertown Hunting Club and was well known for her delicious AP cakes. Mildred was a member of the Oley Farm Women.
Surviving are her six children: Abraham A. Keller, and his companion Linda C. Lawrence of Sinking Spring; Patricia A., wife of Renn T. Hartranft of Oley; Sarah I., wife of Glenn C. Burkert of Alexandria, VA; Cynthia M., wife of Raymond L. Roeder of Blandon; Karen L., wife of Christopher L. Kardoley of Fleetwood; and Rebecca S., wife of Andrew J. Roberts of Harbeson, DE.
There are also 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition, she is survived by her two sisters, Esther Kulp of Perkiomenville and Ruth Ann Wade of Pottstown.
Mildred was preceded in death by four siblings: Jacob Gresh, Dorothy Renninger, Lenora Endy, and James Gresh.
Services will be held Monday, January 6, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Friedens U.C.C., 337 Main Street, Oley, PA 19547. A viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the church with the burial immediately following at Friedens Cemetery.
